Seeing how we have cancelled the three Sunday ICC runs the last three weeks makes me wonder.. Why do we have Sunday as a raid day since nobody bothers to sign up?
I cheer every time I'm signed up, but there is no fun in being chosen for the Sunday raids..

Is this due to the general downtime in WoW, or is Sunday just only met for church and beers?

well our healing and tanking shortage usually is the case, that it has been on sundays has been bad luck I think.  We did have sundays being full raids before, just recently has this changed.

For my part, due to shift work rotation, I can only sign up for every second sunday raid.

I think this week you can blame wedding plans and illness - just an unlucky week.

Historically Sundays have had good signs, which is why it is a raid day.  People have been encouraged to post the hours/days/times they can raid, and unless they update when things change, officers will continue to post raids at the times when most people have said they can make it.

Ah yeah.. I never really paid attention to which day we raided, I just sign up, when I don't have other plans... If sunday used to be a good raiding day, I guess it still can be...

Altho, that list you refer to haven't been updated since November (4 months ago). And some members of the list aren't even members in the guild anymore - where other active raiders ain't written up at all..
Personally I've moved to another country and gotten toally diffrent scheduals since then, and I havent updated it since november either..

EDIT:
Okay, can I ask one of the officers to mention this topic in "message of the day"

We are constantly asking for people to update their details, especially when people complain that they can't raid because of the raid times.  If people do not let us know when they can raid then there is not much the officers can do to accomodate them - it is not our responsibility to chase you in order to make your life easier.  It is down to you to make sure you hav kept us informed.

No it's not your responsibility to haunt us all down. Thats why I'm taking action now. I'm tired of sitting with my hands in my lap.
Once again I'd like one of the officers to mention the "which days can you raid" in the "message of the day" thread on the forum" thats atleast something I can do to help benefit us all!
I really like this guild and I'd love to see all of you as active members..

The list is not accurate when half of our active raid members is not on the list and when it still contains guildmembers who are not in the guild anymore. I miss Matrim - I know why he left - so I'm trying to make things up, and make sure it doesnt happen again. Hence my enthusiasm for investigating raid days..

We are a mature guild, and I hope that people read the forums and respond to posts that are stickied for a reason.  Yet even posting days we can raid and changing the times (again) to get more people into the mix, will not change much as we are a small guild and we dont have enough people to always get raids going.

Best way to solve the problems with canceled raids? Be proactive! if you see a unguilded healer or tank in pugged raids or 5mans, whisper them and hint them to read our forums.  Hey find more dps too.  We who try and recruit members can only do so much, and would love more people helping us out  Wink
